Traffic Cam Houston App Reviews

The $1.99 in-app purchase to remove ads actually pertains to having to pay $1.99 to see any map other than the Houston-wide overview. That yields the app rather useless if you dont pay to "remove ads".

Not really helpful. $2 to use the only feature I downloaded this app for. Ill just use the website.

It will not even open. Actually it did open the 1st time. I bought the "no more ads" IAP and it quit working after that.

Not worth the bandwidth to download. Wont do any more than the Transtar website AFTER you pay them $1.99. Just go to web and hope Apple stops letting apps like this get posted.

Needs more timely updates. The speed maps are nice but not helpful if they arent updated timely. I often get information through my navigation system before its reflected on this app.

Dont care about ads. Just want to look at speed map. Cant view it unless I purchase the delete ads for $1.99. Not much money but feel that you are forcing the issue in order to view what was offered and that I have to pay "again." Deleting the app. LD Reply: from contact email Paraphrase. Horrible app. Small map and no info.

The camera shots arent anywhere near realtime. Ive sat in traffic and when I open the camera for the location I am at, it shows wide open space.

If you are expecting the website or anything close, dont you will be higher disappointed. I dont really use the camera section, so I wont get into that. The speed map is just that, it does not show if there are accidents, construction or anything that actually is causing the changes in speed. On the website you can click on the sections and it gives more info, not so in the app. You can click on parts of the map and it zooms in and gives you a more detailed map of that part of town. And paying $1.99 for a watered down version just to see the other maps and it still not have everything the website does...NOT happening. I waited years for them to map an app (moved away for a few years) and was told it was available and I was beside myself happy. Never been so disappointed by an app! Im glad I still have the website saved in my bookmarks.

Was hoping for website type info and this app doesnt provide as much detail.

Cameras here are often times very poor and unclear. In Florida recently and saw article where they changed some cameras to Bosch. Views were incredible. Many it is time for an investment here.

This app you have created is excellent. This allows me to monitor my employees when they tell me they are stuck in traffic. Filters out their BS.

If you need Sugar Land traffic map as I need every day, DO NOT buy this app!!! After I paid the upgraded to access the Sugar Land map, I opened the map and the screen is BLANK???? I sent several emails and nothing was fixed. Then, they stop replying to my emails. Bad app.

Yeah .... Any traffic app has to update real time. This doesnt and Ive found myself in traffic jams while the app says roads are clear. Pretty much useless. Ive deleted.

I was expecting realtime cameras however what you get is stills that were taken earlier.
